Meet Sean Pearson from California, our second Mentawai Surf Camp Pro of our Surf-With-A-Pro Program.
May was a month we will never forget. From the epic swells to the late nights karaoke sessions, the month of May was full of madness and Sean Pearson was part of this May madness.
Sean is 25, he was born in California but spend his time in Nicaragua and traveling the world for contests. When he is not competing, he spends his time coaching and training Nicaragua’s ISA Juniors. With the national team he practices surfing techniques, video reviews, out of water exercises, yoga and heat strategies to get them to improve! He loves surfing and this is what you missed:
“✌🏽out @mentawaisurfcamp Thank you Diego, Lora, and the whole camp staff for making this one of the best months of my life. Love how you guys treat the guest as family. Food was spectacular. Waves were on 🔥. Camp staff was always on time and full of positive energy. Really going to miss this place. If your trying to get to the mentawais this is defiantly the spot to be. 💯 stoked and surfed out.”
“This past month has been as fruity as a ‘salpicon’ with infused double rum. We’ve partied, we surfed, and we played Corruña till we dropped. We went surfing with Sean Pearsons, Peter Chamberlain and a legendary all-out cast of guests that were lucky enough to land in our premises. We’ve decided to label the experience of this trip and create a proper hashtag that symbolises the fortitude of what has been surfing these fantastic waves with a handful of beauties. #radicalending is in allusion to the iconic Indonesian #happyending, but just as the words portray, we went beyond ourselves to make everyday fucking amazing.” Diego
