What do your rooms look like? Do they all have private ensuite toilets?
We have 7 rooms in total, all beachfront, but not all of them have ensuite toilets — and we’re very transparent about that so you can choose what suits you best. (photos below)

By payment to Mentawai Surf Camp, all guests abide by our terms & conditions.

Mentawai Surf Camp is not liable for any damage to personal items, theft, illness, injury or death caused while travelling or staying at the camp.
Mentawai Surf Camp reserves the right to cancel a persons accommodation due to inappropriate behaviour.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS: There are no refunds on tariffs.
Obtain a travel insurance deal on the dates you are travelling as soon as you book your place with us to avoid monetary losses due to injuries or loss of accommodation due to flight delays or changes
Mentawai Surf Camp can withdraw a booking if full payment is not received within 30 days of departure. Remember that deposits secure room spaces. No deposit - means no reservation. Late payments, if not cancelled, will incur a penalty fee per person.
Mentawai Surf Camp insists that all guests have travel insurance, and it is the guest's responsibility to arrange his or their travel insurance before the departure of their country of origin.
Mentawai Surf Camp is not liable to pay extra expenses, which may be due to delays, natural disasters, war, civil unrest, terrorism, acts of god etc.
Mentawai Surf Camp is not responsible for any guest's actions and will not be involved in any legal matters related to crime, drugs or anything against the law, both in the guest's country of origin and Indonesia. Mentawai Surf Camps guests must have six months of validity on their passport.
Mentawai Surf Camp will not be held responsible for any matters related to immigration and will take no responsibility regarding customers' visas.
Under any situation, Mentawai Surf Camp cannot extend a visa and will not be held liable for an overstay.
Mentawai Surf Camp recommends that guests seek medical advice before departure and take the necessary medicines/vaccinations instructed by their doctor. All visitors to Indonesia must pay departure tax - at both international and domestic airports.
Mentawai Surf Camp recommends all guests check all safety issues, travel warnings, information and advisories related to entering Indonesia before departing their country of origin. All guests, if under 18, must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Mentawai Surf Camp will not refund any portion of any trip related to injury, sickness, unlawful behaviour or homesickness. The Surf Camp will assist the guest to the best of their ability but will not put any other guest in danger. All luggage requirements and limitations are the same as the international airline standard. A 25 kg limit for suitcases or any bag, and the maximum amount of surfboards, bodyboards, longboards, and kneeboards to be transported to and from the islands is 5. Surf skis are too bulky and will not be acceptable to bring to the surf camp.
Mentawai Surf Camp is not liable for any Internet or computer-related issues that may arise during the booking process.
Mentawai Surf Camp has the right to alter travel schedules due to weather conditions, safety issues or situations beyond our control.
Mentawai Surf Camp has informed the guest that all travel is at the guests own risk. Surfing in remote locations may lead to dangers with which the guest has total responsibility and agrees to engage with.
Mentawai Surf Camp will do its utmost to maintain the prices indicated
Mentawai Surf Camp reserves the right to amend prices before or after your booking until the full payment is received.
Mentawai Surf Camp reserves the right to change the Terms and Conditions at any time.
Costs not included in Price: Excess Baggage, Personal, Spending money, Food not prepared by Mentawai Surf Camp (eating out is an additional cost), Alcohol, Travel Insurance, Airport Departure Taxes for international and domestic flights in Indonesia, Passport and Inoculation costs, Personal costs incurred through delay in transport or mechanical breakdown.
Mentawai Surf Camp is not accountable for tickets once the guests obtain them. We will not be responsible for lost airline tickets once they have reached the hands of the guests.
Mentawai Surf Camp is secure with all booking information and will not forward information obtained, except for matters related to the law, which directly affect us.

The Mentawai Fast Ferry is the most common and reliable way to reach the islands from Padang.
This is the preferred option for most guests due to its proximity to our camp, as we dont need to travel through open waters to get there
The Private Fast Ferry is a chartered high-speed option we arrange for certain dates and groups.
This option offers more flexibility in timing and a smoother experience for groups or private bookings.
Yes. There are limited charter flights operating between Kuala Lumpur (KL) and Tuapejat (Rokot Airport – RKI).
Availability varies, and luggage limits may apply. This option avoids Padang entirely.
The overnight ferry is the budget option.
This option is slower but avoids one overnight in padang and it gets you early the next morning at the camp. We coordinate pickup from the port that matches your ferry’s destination.
We organise speedboat pickup from either port depending on where you arrive.
